Wart removal at our clinic in Portland requires a complimentary consultation with our on staff physician prior to your wart being removed. You can typically receive your first wart removal treatment at the time of your consultation.

Wart Removal Technology and How It Works?
How Do Wart Removal Treatments Work?
During your complimentary consultation, our Physician will examine your warts to determine if you are a good candidate.
Generally, Swift® treatments include an average of 3 to 4 visits with each appointment only lasting 5 to10 minutes. You will receive multiple 2-second doses of microwave energy where the total amount of doses will vary based on the size and age of the lesion. Visits are spaced 4 weeks apart to coincide with the body’s immune cycle, and a follow-up appointment will be scheduled 12 weeks after the final treatment to evaluate the results. Complete resolution is aligned with the strength of your body’s immune response.
*At this time, we do not offer biopsy services. A biopsy would be warranted if a lesion was suspected to be pre-malignant or malignant (cancerous). Lesions we would suggest being sent for a biopsy include those that are rapidly growing, changing, bleeding with little to no irritation, recently developed, or appear on an individual with a personal or family history of cancer.
Are Wart Removal Treatments Painful?
The process of removing a wart can used to be painful. But thanks to our new Swift® technology, you should only feel a minor burning sensation lasting 2 to 3 seconds which will quickly subside. There is no anesthesia/injection needed!
Plantar Wart Removals?
“Plantar” means “Of the sole”. Unlike other types of warts, plantar warts are typically quite painful as the pressure from walking and standing forces them to grow into your skin. Like all warts, Plantar warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) virus.
Plantar warts can often be treated effectively by our Swift® wart removal technology.
