PRP for Stretch Mark Reduction and How It Works!

Platelet rich plasma for stretch marks promotes local tissue growth and repair of damaged scar tissue by releasing growth factors, which then interact with the cells to stimulate cell reproduction. PRP also helps initiate new vascular supply in the skin tissue, which adds healthy color and evened skin tone. PRP increases the number of stem cells in the area of the stretch marks and the produces more collagen. These benefits together are a great way to reduce stretch marks. PRP treatments are considered by many to be the best treatment for stretch mark reduction.

PRP for Reducing Stretch Marks – How It Works!!!

Collect Blood From Patient

About 2-4 vials of blood are drawn from the patient's arm.

Seperate the Platelets

A centrifuge is then used to separate plasma and platelets from the red blood cells.

Extract Platelets Rich Plasma

We extract 3-6 ml of Platelet Rich Plasma. Then mixed with a special vitamin serum.

Numbing cream may be applied to the treated area to help with some of the discomfort of microneedling.

Platelet-rich plasma is then spread onto the stretch mark area. The microneedling pen is used to push the PRP into the skin and glides freely and easily over skin tissue.

Apply PRP with the microneedling pen and Injection

PRP is then pushed into the Dermis using the Microneedling pen. The remaining PRP can be injected into specific areas of the body that need the most improvement. In some cases, this step is done first.
